The Smile Friendship Club has become a huge success since it was launched in 2008, with up to 50 Service Users plus staff enjoying a mix of crafts games and activities every fortnight, plus a regular disco. The club is open to Service Users from both Smile and other agencies.
The motivation of Friendship Club was always to give Service Users a social facility where they can mix and enjoy activities in a safe environment. We think everyone who visits the club will agree that this has been achieved.
The Shire Way Community Centre venue have a licensed bar where alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks plus snacks can be purchased at reasonable prices.
Regular activities at the Friendship Club include:
- Disco with the ‘Dynamic Duo’
- Card making, drawing and other crafts
- Games
- Bingo
- Skittles
- Quiz Nights
