About Smile Friendship Club
The Smile Friendship Club has become a huge success since it was launched in 2008, with over 50 Service Users plus staff enjoying a mix of crafts games and activities every fortnight, plus a regular disco. The club is open to Service Users from both Smile and other agencies.
The motivation of Friendship Club was always to give Service Users a social facility where they can mix and enjoy activities in a safe environment. We think everyone who visits the club will agree that this has been achieved.

Smile Friendship Club is ran by staff of SMILE who are all DBS Checked. If you require support to Smile Friendship club you must bring your own support staff with you. Smile do not offer transport to club and it is the service users responsibility to arrange their own transport to and from Smile Friendship Club
Club nights are 6:30pm - 9:00pm. Entrance fee is £5.00 for Service Users (Support Staff are free).

Due to the ongoing pandemic we have decided to keep the club closed. We do have plans to restart with a few changes, so watch this space!

Disco Night
Disco Night with the Dynamic Duo
Disco nights are favourable amonge most, Smile Friendship Club provide a full disco playing a selection of genres and music from different decades. Request a song on the night and boogie the night away.
Karaoke
Sing your hearts out and have fun
Karaoke is a lot of fun and like disco nights its popular. You can request a song from our Smile Karaoke Book and some requests can be taken but this is currently in trial stages
Bingo
All the twos! Twenty Two! Quack Quack
Smile Bingo night consists of 3 games of bingo playing for a line and then a full house to win prizes on the night. Bingo cards are given out as part of the entrance fee.
Live Music
Occasionally we have live music events. The acts could be a singer, Musician or both

Animal Encounters
Annually Smile Friendship Club invite The Little Zoo to provide a fun and informative animal encounter.

Arts and Crafts
If the main events aren't for you
At all Smile Friendship Clubs we put out various Arts and Crafts, we have a dedicated crafts table to sit at and get Arty. Plenty of colouring in and themed crafts are put out at each club. Its also a great area to have a chat, Socialise and make new friends.
Raffle
As part of our Friendship Club evening we do a raffle, prizes usually consist of chocolate, teddys, toiletries and much much more. Tickets are £1 sold on the door.

If you have become a Smile Friendship Club Member we will celebrate your birthday at friendship club, we will pick a club around your birthday to celebrate with you. You will recieve a card and "Happy Birthday" will be sung
